YCAD (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides a coaching-planning application available on iOS and the web. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use and protect it.

 

By using YCAD, you agree to the practices described below.

We collect only the minimum information needed to provide YCAD’s core features.

• Account login information (via email/password, Apple Sign-In, or Google Sign-In)

• Content you create in the app (drill plans, practice plans, groups, shared content)

Automatically Collected Information​

• Device information (model, OS version, app version)

• IP address (for security + preventing abuse)

• Basic analytics (feature usage, crash logs — via Firebase)

 

Payment Information

If you subscribe to paid features, purchases are processed securely by Apple App Store or Google Play and managed by RevenueCat.

 

YCAD does not collect, store, or have access to your full credit card or payment details.

 

RevenueCat may receive:

• App user identifiers

• Purchase history and subscription status

• Device and app-related identifiers required to manage entitlements

 

This information is used solely to manage subscriptions, restore purchases, and enforce access to paid features.

YCAD uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions and paid feature access.

 

RevenueCat acts as a data processor and may process limited personal data necessary to:

 

• Verify purchases

• Track subscription status

• Restore purchases across devices

 

RevenueCat does not use your data for advertising and does not sell personal data.

 

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to operate and improve YCAD:

 

• Create and maintain your account

• Sync your content across devices (via Firebase)

• ​Manage subscriptions, entitlements, and paid feature access (via RevenueCat)

• Enable sharing and collaboration in groups

• Provide customer support

• Improve app reliability and performance

• Enforce security and prevent abuse

AI Features & Automated Processing

​

YCAD uses Firebase AI to power features such as drill creation, warmup and practice plan generation, and automated feedback on user-created content. When you use these features, the text and content you provide (including drills, warmups, notes, and practice plans) is transmitted to Firebase AI for processing.

 

Firebase AI processes your content solely for the purpose of generating responses and operating YCAD’s features.

YCAD does not permit Firebase AI to use your data to train or improve Google’s public models.

 

Firebase AI may temporarily store your data for operational integrity, security, or abuse prevention, in accordance with Google’s data protection terms.

Please do not include sensitive personal information (e.g., health data, medical conditions, or private athlete details) in content submitted to AI features.

 

By using YCAD’s AI tools, you acknowledge that:

• Your content will be processed automatically by AI to generate responses

• AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete

• You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before using it in real coaching or training settings

 

YCAD is not responsible for any decisions or outcomes resulting from your use of AI-generated content.

 

3. When We Share Information

We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate YCAD:

• Firebase Authentication

• Firebase Firestore

• Firebase Crashlytics + Analytics

• RevenueCat

• Apple App Store / Google Play Billing

These providers process your data solely on our behalf and do not have permission to use it for their own purposes.

 

We may disclose information if required by law (e.g., valid legal request).

4. Cookies & Website Tracking

 

YCAD’s website uses basic cookies for:

• Login sessions

• Security

• Analytics

 

You can disable cookies in your browser, but the website may not function properly without them.

5. Data Retention

 

We keep your data only as long as your account is active.

 

When you delete your account:

• Your personal data and created content are deleted from our active systems.

• Backups are removed automatically as they expire (up to 30–60 days).

• Secure authentication

• Role-restricted access to data

• Firestore security rules

• No storage of credit card data

 

No digital service can guarantee perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

YCAD is based in Canada and uses Firebase and RevenueCat, which may process data in the U.S. or other regions.

 

All transfers comply with applicable privacy laws.
